YOUR RECEPTION…

We are able to offer you a choice of venue, depending on the size of your celebration.

 ANTON’S BISTROT:

 We can cater for up to 70 casual or 40 formal at a sit-down meal or for a buffet in Anton’s Bistrot and lounge. Up to 100 guests can be accommodated for drinks/canapés or a finger buffet. 

We will happily discuss the following with you to ensure we meet your wedding wishes:~

 WELLS TOWN HALL:

For larger parties, we are happy to cater for your reception at Wells Town Hall, just across the Market Place from The Crown and can offer all of the facilities already mentioned (subject to availability).

Overlooking Wells Market Place and refurbished for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee visit, Wells Town Hall can cater for up to 180 guests and provides the perfect setting for your special day.

Bookings can only be accepted for a minimum of 50 guests. Any parties smaller than 50 guests, can be catered for at Anton’s Bistrot at The Crown.

If you wish for us to arrange the wine for you and your guests, we will be happy to do so and we can also provide a full bar service.

ACCOMMODATION…

The Crown has been comfortably furnished in-keeping with its 15th century character.

All fifteen bedrooms are en-suite, with colour television, radio/alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities.

We have four rooms available with four-poster beds, three with jet baths, all with power showers. We also have family rooms, which have space for cots and sofa beds.

 FOR THE HAPPY COUPLE:

If you are spending your wedding night with us you can, subject to availability, book one of our four-poster bedrooms; perfect as a honeymoon suite. We do not usually provide room service, but would be happy to make an exception for you and can serve a champagne breakfast in your room, please ask us for the rates.

 FOR YOUR GUESTS:

In the first instance we are happy to block off bedrooms in the hotel to accommodate your guests, if your reception is being held here or at the Town Hall. We then ask that your guests get in touch with us directly to provide us with names, addresses and a credit card number to secure each individual booking. This system is easier for us and gives you one less thing to worry about! We can, if you require, provide enough brochures to send to your guests with your wedding invitations.
