Due to increased business, we are seeking an energetic person to join our team in Anton’s.  You will take a 'hands on' role in the Bistrot, serving meals and preparing drinks, and assisting our Reservations Manager with daily reception tasks, ensuring a quality experience for all our guests.

The successful candidate must be able to work well in a busy environment, have a cheerful nature and a passion for hospitality, food and drink; preferably with experience of a hospitality or retail back-ground.

This position offers good rates of pay, some bank holiday benefits, meals on duty, and training opportunities.

Hours of work will include Early ( 7.00am-3.00pm ) and Late ( 3.00pm-11.30pm ) shifts, and weekend work.

Bistrot Manager

A charismatic, lively and entertaining individual needed to lead this award winning, busy and popular Bistrot/Restaurant, and its team of dedicated staff.  Encompassing full food service of Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Room Service, & large function operation, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent sales targets, missing no opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and background working in a similar environment.  The individual must be a great communicator, they should be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and customer service skills.

Full Time Bar Person

We are seeking a bubbly person to join our team in The Penn Bar.  You will carry out general bar duties, serving meals and preparing drinks, and assisting our Bar Manager with daily tasks, ensuring a quality experience for all our guests.

The successful candidate must be able to work well in a busy environment, have a cheerful nature and a passion for hospitality, food and drink; preferably with experience of a hospitality or retail back-ground.

You will work 5 days per week on a rota basis, to include weekends.

The Fountain Inn & Boxers Restaurant is at the high end of the gastro pub market
& is well known for it’s quality food using fresh produce.

The successful applicant will;

• Be qualified to C&G 706 1&2 or NVQ level 3 (A working interview can be arranged for applicants who do not possess relevant qualifications)
• Assist the Head Chef & be confident to take charge during their absence
• Have experience in a similar environment
• Be able to perform well under pressure as part of a small & dedicated team
• Have a creative interest in cooking
• Be well motivated
• Possess an excellent standard in hygiene
