The
Crown’s 1450 Club is an informal association set-up to provide professionals
with a forum to network with like-minded business people from Wells
and the surrounding areas.
Free
to join, the 1450 Club will host eight fine dining events to be
held in Anton’s Bistrot over the course of the year. Each meal will
be attended by a special guest speaker, or, on the occasion of themed
evenings, a professional from the wine industry to present tutorials
and tastings.
Each
Friday evening, after working hours, 1450 Club members will be welcome
to enjoy drinks and canapés in the informal and relaxed surroundings
of Anton’s lounge.
The
1450 Club will also organise corporate hospitality events where
members will be welcome to attend and invite colleagues, clients
or business contacts. Forthcoming events include a visit to Bristol
Shogun’s Rugby Club and Chepstow racecourse. A copy of the itinerary
for the 1450 Club events for this year follows below.
We
hope that the 1450 Club will also provide an ideal opportunity for
us to pull together a combination of resources to raise funds for
elected charities.
