Built during the 16th century to house builders working on the nearby Wells Cathedral, the award-winning Fountain Inn & Boxer's Restaurant has a well-deserved reputation for superb quality food and an excellent choice of wine.

This reputation has been built-up since 1981 when Adrian and Sarah Lawrence first arrived at The Fountain Inn.

Over the years the pub has won many accolades including an AA Rosette, AA Best Pub, Les Routiers Casserole Award and highly commended regional winner of the Spanish Wine Lists Competition.

Chef Julie Pearce uses the finest local produce to create a tremendous selection of delicious home-cooked food available to diners in both the bar and restaurant.
